Anyway, was browsing the net searching for the theme for "REJECTED" and found this cool picture in deviantart by SuchaDream. This picture really expresses the feeling of rejection very successfully. Haha. I guess if i really feel rejected i would also act as the same way as the girl in the picture. I like the way it is black and white. So monotone that i feel kind of emo.

Dark Matter Concept

Yo! Came out with a concept of having dark characters running loose. Will repetitively put the girl girl in.

For example the snail, the swing. bla bla. might include one with her crying or angry. and some dark mysterious creatures which will in the end be composited in a balance layout :)

So as you can see. i might make them in black and white format and thus create a very contrasting feel!!

I added a little element of chinese zombie to it. But i added spirits around him to make him a 'spirit kid' from hell?!. Design of this character is really difficult. Hope you all can give suggestion to it!!

His character is happy-go-lucky. Able to have the ability to control spirit, he is able to escape from the ''hell chaser'' who are chasing him.

I have not add colours and think will scrap the idea of making him to an illustration cause there are no strong concept. T.T

Random girl

I think she is call Mai. Nobody knows her past and of course, her future. Whenever she laughs the 2 eyes beside her will open up to see if there are any danger around her because they don wan a happy girl like her to cry.

New Contest! By La Fraise again

Well it’s time again for another EU contest, this time it’s with art news website ArtCulture

ArtCulture is an online publication focusing on international art and design. ArtCulture features exclusive artist interviews, gallery/exhibition reviews, news & events, and general musings in the world of art, culture, and design. Founded in August of 2007 by Brad Mahaffey. ArtCulture showcases a diverse group of talented writers from all walks of life.

Now that you know who you are dealing with, here are the details.

-Submissions start today (September 30th) and go until October 13th.

-1 Winner will be selected and will receive 1500 Euros and their design will be printed in a limited run of 500. And who knows if we get enough solid submissions we might pick more winners.

The theme might be a tough one but I’m sure you guys will step-up to the challenge. Think “alternate universe” or what sort of things could be contained within the “dark matter” of the universe.
